Some if you may have already heard, Mayor Bud Norris (Mt.Vernon,WA) is planning to honor Glenn Beck on Sept.26th. Help save our community, let the Mayor know this is not representative of our community's values. He is abusing the powers of his office of a personal nature. This is not a political partisan issue. We do not honor those that dishonor the office of the President of the United States nor honor espousing hate and bigotry. No matter who they are.
Please take a moment to email / mvmayor@mountvernonwa.gov or phone 360-336-6211 the mayor and the Mt.Vernon city council. Let them know this is not acceptable. You can also sign a petition online that will be given to the Mayor: http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/stopglennbeck/
