Voters'Shout-Out!

The weather is not the only thing heating up around our state. Only two days left until our states primary! Please, if you haven't already done so, VOTE! Some may think the primary doesn't matter and some nay sayers are predicting a poor turn-out. Make your voices heard loud and clear! Fill out your ballot and send it in or drop it off at your local drop site. Some around WA don't have the mail-in ballots. You still have polling locations. (Lucky you). Make time on primary election day to go to your polling locations and cast your vote! There are some local primary watch parties being held also. Check the calendar over at our home base FMI. Even host one yourself. A great way to beat the heat and have some fun, too.

There are lots of local state candidates on this years ballot. And the confusion of the top two primary system has left some voters even more confused. Do not let this take away from your vote! This is too important to disregard. If you're not sure who to vote for, read through the voter guide or talk with your state/local party, friends and family. Though it is ultimately up to you, the voter, whom to vote for, the state Dems have an endorsement "slate card" you can view to see which candidates the party has endorsed. Some of the candidates in the local voter guides did not list this information.

Remember, your PCO's are elected in the primary and only these elected PCO's will be the ones able to cast votes in the upcoming reorganization meetings in Dec.&Jan.

Lets make this election year, the Get Out The Voice of the People and VOTE!

*Note: Read your ballot instructions carefully. As always, if you have any concerns or questions contact your county elections department!
