Main St. moves to "K" St.

An article on the ILWU site, bears repeating here. Take a few moments and read it through. You may think it won't affect you, but sooner or later you'll be in for a rude awakening. Is this a move toward the ole saying,"if you can't beat em, join em"? Another member had linked it on another blog with the title heading of "AFL-CIO  Lap Dogs", for which some readers felt was rather too harsh. You be the judge.

Here is an excerpt:  "Let's not kid ourselves: The lure of hefty campaign financing courtesy of the medical profits industry is driving Congress to do….nothing. On second thought "lure" may not be the right word. "Addiction" would be more appropriate. Either way, Congress continues to demonstrate that it cares more about its medical industry benefactors than it does about working class America...... Sadly, AFL-CIO hierarchy have caved-in to the do-nothing Congress....."  Read more here
